    Our client is a well-known Australian company providing essential products and services across various sectors, benefiting many Australians daily. They’re currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst within their Private Health Insurance (PHI) division.
      
    The Opportunity:

    Due to the retirement of a valued team member, we are looking to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the Private Health Insurance business systems, bridging the gap between business, processes, and technology teams.
      
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Investigate issues and respond to queries regarding PHI core system functionality.
    • Manage and support daily batch process scheduling and execution.
    • Provide expert knowledge to BI and tech development teams on system functionality, data, and services.
    • Manage system master data and configuration.
    • Validate system changes made by external suppliers/tech teams.
    • Assess the impact of system changes on the business.
    • Assist with implementing system controls and business system administration.

      
    This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations of key business activities like direct debits, claims processing, banking reconciliation, product updates, tax statement generation, and more.
      
    About You:

    We are looking for someone with a positive, collaborative approach, a problem-solver who can think creatively to deliver solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Private Health Insurance systems, preferably Whics/Ensure (Civica), and a solid understanding of the PHI industry. Familiarity with Salesforce and Genesys is a plus.
      
    Additional Requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications and 3-5 years of experience supporting complex systems.
    • Experience in Private Health Insurance systems (Membership, Claims, Products, and Sales).
    • Proficiency with SQL, MS Excel, or other data tools is highly regarded.
    • Experience with ServiceNow queue management and Salesforce administration is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SDLC, Test Development Lifecycle, and Agile Development.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
