  • About the Role:

    We’re looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to lead life-changing therapy for NDIS participants. You’ll work across homes, schools, workplaces, and community centres, developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA), and collaborating with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
    This is a hands-on role with guidance from Team Leaders and Therapy Mentors, offering the chance to shape outcomes and mentor others while growing your career.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver Behaviour Support services across homes, schools, workplaces, and community centres
    • Develop and implement function-based Behaviour Support Plans using positive behaviour support frameworks
    • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and provide actionable recommendations
    • Build strong relationships with participants, families, carers, and support networks
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
    • Mentor and support junior practitioners, sharing knowledge and expertise

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters, or Graduate Diploma) in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing, or related field
    • Relevant registration/membership (AHPRA, SPA, or AASW)
    • Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
    • Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
    • Strong communication skills, flexible approach, and team-oriented mindset
    • Valid Australian driver’s license, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
