About the role:
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of the team — supporting customers, coordinating key processes and keeping everything running smoothly.
This role goes beyond administration. You’ll build relationships, support customers through their financial journey and develop valuable industry skills along the way.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident on the phone and enjoys helping people, while bringing a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Import BPAY payments, process manual payments and reversals
- Manage refunds, reconcile payouts and unallocated payments
- Discharge customer accounts, send overpayments to customer care, apply collection and repossession costs
- Manage PPSR discharges and swaps
- Support broker accreditations and assist the Credit team
- Manage inbound calls and emails
- Manage office supplies, liaise with cleaners and handle ad hoc administrative duties
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably within customer care or financial services
- Understanding of payment processing systems and procedures
- Familiarity with loan management systems and basic financial reconciliation principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and handling customer accounts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
