Join a well-established national credit provider known for putting customers first. With a supportive, inclusive culture and a strong focus on growth, they’re seeking a motivated Collections Officer to join their Brisbane-based team.
This isn’t just collections – it’s helping customers navigate financial challenges with empathy, professionalism and care. You’ll negotiate realistic repayment plans, identify hardship, balance commercial outcomes with genuine customer support and administrative duties.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
What you’ll do:
- Connect with customers calmly and professionally via phone and email
- Negotiate sustainable repayment arrangements
- Identify and support customers experiencing financial hardship
- Manage contracts in line with policy and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to team improvements
What you’ll bring:
- Previous Collections experience (consumer or commercial lending ideal, but not essential)
- Confident communicating in sensitive situations
- Organised, proactive and resilient
- Financially aware with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of NCCP Act, Privacy Act and ASIC guidelines is a bonus
