About the Role:
Step into this short-term role as Office Manager and keep the business running smoothly in the absence of their current team member. You’ll have a 2-week handover and the opportunity to stay on for a further 1–2 weeks at the end of the assignment. You’ll take ownership of accounts, payroll and administration, helping the team stay on top of their day-to-day operations with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily emails
- Accounts Payable: Bill entry, payment processing, reporting
- Accounts Receivable: Claims reconciliation, account & retention follow-ups
- Account reconciliations
- Payroll processing for 25 staff
- Manage leave, onboarding/offboarding, WorkCover and pay reviews
- Process superannuation, IAS and payroll tax
- Maintain accurate AroFlo/Xero system records
- Handle welcome packs, invoicing and credit card payments
- Cross-check supplier statements
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in accounts and payroll
- Confident with Excel and cloud-based systems (Xero/AroFlo ideal)
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
