About the role:
As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in assessing loan applications and guiding customers toward successful outcomes. This is more than just a processing role; it’s an opportunity to build strong relationships, apply sound credit judgment and make a real difference in customers’ financial journeys.
You’ll work closely with brokers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure applications are handled efficiently, accurately and with care.
We’re looking for someone who is confident on the phone, thrives on relationship-building and combines strong analytical skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
Duties:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction is positive and supportive
- Assess loan applications in line with company policies and credit guidelines
- Conduct thorough employment and rental reference checks
- Liaise effectively with brokers and customers to manage applications smoothly
- Review and analyse credit files, including bank statement assessments
- Accurately calculate and verify income, expenses and overall affordability
- Monitor and proactively follow up on applications to ensure timely progression
