About the role:
You will play a key role in supporting customers experiencing financial difficulty, helping them navigate their obligations with empathy, understanding and professionalism. This position offers meaningful work, variety and the opportunity to use your judgement to deliver fair and sustainable outcomes.
Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5.00pm.
Duties:
- Engage with customers via phone with empathy and professionalism
- Negotiate realistic and sustainable repayment arrangements
- Identify and support customers experiencing financial hardship
- Manage delinquent contracts in line with policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records
- Contribute to team initiatives and process improvements
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Collections (consumer or commercial lending ideal but not essential)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations
- Solid problem-solving capability and financial awareness
- Knowledge of NCCP Act, Privacy Act and ASIC guidelines (desirable)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Resilience, adaptability and a proactive attitude
