The Role
Your primary responsibilities involve responding to security incidents, coordinating a unified response across multiple teams, and enhancing security measures against emerging threats through the use of SOAR. Key tasks include:
- Assisting in developing secure solutions meeting business needs.
- Proactively addressing and preventing customer-facing incidents.
- Improving and expanding security tools.
- Contributing to security-related standards, processes, and procedures.
- Identifying and recommending solutions to enhance incident response capabilities.
- Monitoring and responding to security trends, coordinating necessary responses, and promoting security awareness.
About You
- Possess extensive cyber security experience (3+ years).
- Proven track record as the lead responder in cyber incident response.
- Expertise in SIEM (preferably Splunk) – regular use and maintenance, including tuning and setting up alerts.
- Experience with SOAR, automation playbooks – built automated responses or actions to alerts received in the SIEM.
- Hold relevant Cyber Security qualifications/certificates.
- Deliver high-quality services within a large enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate deep technical skills across various infrastructure and security technologies.
- Effectively communicate solutions, responses, and awareness to a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical.
