We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Partner.     In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate risk appetite, risk metrics, and mitigation controls into actionable discussions, reporting, and decisions. As a subject matter expert, you’ll continuously define, implement, and maintain end-to-end information security controls and solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide insightful advice to stakeholders as a Cybersecurity subject matter expert
    • Assist in managing cyber risks and conducting comprehensive security assessments
    • Offer recommendations to enhance the overall security posture
    • Lead technical assessments in risk, cloud services, software, hardware, and vendor selection
    • Craft and sustain a comprehensive catalogue of security privacy controls aligned with NIST 800-53 standards
    • Investigate, evaluate, select, and document new approaches, methods, and technologies
    • Support cybersecurity risk management and assurance functions
    • Partner across functions to drive key strategic initiatives and foster collaboration
    • Champion a customer-centric approach through sustained leadership commitments
    • Adhere to relevant risk, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and compliance obligations

    Skills and Experience:

    • 5+ years of information security experience
    • Extensive expertise in NIST Standards, ISO 27001/2, and APRA CPS 234
    • Expert knowledge of IT security best practices and solutions
    • Holds relevant academic and tertiary qualifications, complemented by a minimum of 3 years in information security control, program frameworks, and risk management
    • Proficient in cyber security analysis, principles, practices, and standards, with hands-on delivery experience
    • Demonstrates excellent written communication skills and adept team management abilities
    • Possesses solid presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex technical issues to senior executive audiences effectively
