About the role:
As a Trade Counter Sales team member, you will serve as a crucial point of contact for esteemed customers, catering to both trade professionals and retail clients. Your responsibilities will include offering expert advice, aiding in product selection and ensuring a superior experience for visitors at our trade counter.
The work hours are from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm every second Saturday.
Duties:
- Greet and assist customers, answering product enquiries and providing recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked trade counter
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall success of the team
- Continuously update product knowledge to offer the best solutions, completing sales and customer service-related functions
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous sales or customer service experience (plumbing industry experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- A friendly, approachable attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Self-driven and initiative
